When you’re hauling marijuana in your plane, you might want to answer the radio when the FAA calls.
Two men are in the Callaway County Jail accused of trafficking 31 pounds of pot. A plane landed at Fulton’s airport around midnight Friday. Officers were there to meet it because the aircraft’s automatic signal was turned off, and the crew wasn’t answering radio calls. The pilot – Russell Hansen of New York – and a passenger – Jacob Beatty–Martinez of California – were both arrested after pounds of high-grade marijuana was found onboard.
