A Camden County woman accused of slitting her baby’s throat has been granted a change of venue.
The trial of 40-year old Bradie Simpson – who is accused of cutting her baby’s throat and wrists last February – has been moved from Camden to Morgan County. A trial date for Simpson has not been set yet. Several months before the incident, Simpson had told her pastor she was worried that she was going to harm her child, allegedly making references to demons.
Camden County deputies found Simpson and her baby outside of their mobile home and she had also cut herself. Simpson faces assault and armed criminal action charges.
