It’s one wet sloppy mess Tuesday in Jefferson City. Streets Director Britt Smith says he has two dozen plows out on city roads. He’s asking the public for patience, saying continued melting combined with new snow is making for some slushy streets.
Smith notes his teams have been active since about midnight Tuesday, and says at least the major roads are passable. He says don’t drive in this weather if you don’t have to… it makes the job for him and his prow crews a lot easier.
