Accused Triple Killer Will Take Mental Exam
The suspect in a Mid-Missouri triple homicide will undergo a psychological exam Friday.
Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Maylee of Holts Summit is charged with three counts of first-degree murder. He’s accused of killing a Holts Summit couple and a Callaway County man, and trying to kill the man’s wife in 2010. A judge ruled on several motions in the case Monday. One ruling will suppress statements Maylee made to Callaway County Sheriff Dennis Crane while he was being held at the county jail soon after his arrest.
Maylee’s trial is scheduled to start September 10th on a change of venue in Boone County.
