Hundreds of gun-rights advocates rallied at the Capitol Thursday, and the Missouri House voted accordingly. The House voted to allow certain school personnel to carry concealed weapons in school buildings.
Many lawmakers from both parties spoke at the rally and promised to continue to push for more gun rights. The House bill would also lower the minimum age requirement of conceal carry permit holders and to let firearms less than 16 inches be openly carried by people with valid permits.
The measure is now being sent to the state Senate.
