As the rain starts to move out of our area for the week, the concern now shifts to flooding. Some parts of mid-Missouri have received about four inches of rain in the last 24 hours alone.
ABC 17 Stormtrack Meteorologist Neville Miller says now’s a good time to remember to never drive over water-covered roads.
Wednesday evening’s storms triggered tornado warnings in Moniteau, Boone and Monroe County, although no touchdown was confirmed. We did have hail as large as baseballs on the Mizzou campus, and several reports of damage. Miller says we have a much smaller threat of severe weather Thursday.
