Are you looking for a new career? How about information technology? Thanks to a million-dollar grant, Lincoln University and Linn State Technical College are teaming up.
The presidents of each school signed an agreement Wednesday to ensure students who earn an associate’s degree in information technology at Linn State can transfer their credits to Lincoln.
Governor Jay Nixon was on hand in Jefferson City to formally announce the deal, as part of his “Central Missouri Innovation Campus” initiative. Nixon says the program is designed to help students get advanced degrees faster and find a job in their field.
