SSA Agent Testifies on Gun Controversy
The feds are standing by their story, this time under oath. Social Security agents testify Wednesday before a Missouri Senate committee, saying they never analyzed the data for a potential investigation of disability fraud.
Special Agent Keith Schilb says he got a concealed gun list in late 2011 from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, but the names, birth dates and social security numbers were jumbled so he destroyed the computer disk. He says he got a password-protected list this January but couldn’t open it.
One new piece of info… Schilb says he sought a third copy of the list in February, but never picked it up because supervisors decided to abandon the project.
