Ashland’s Second Ward Alderman has his seat on the board back for now.
Jeff Anderson was suspended from the city’s board of aldermen last month, and went to court to end the suspension. A Boone County judge ruled in favor Anderson Wednesday.
The injunction means Anderson will be reinstated, but his time as an alderman could still be limited. City leaders have expressed an interest in impeaching Anderson to remove him from the board. Ashland city government has been in recent upheaval, with the mayor, city administrator, and more entering their jobs within the past few months.
