You could find more patients in some hospitals than people who signed up for Obamacare insurance plans in Missouri.
The Department of Health and Human Services says 751 Missourians signed up for a plan on the federal insurance exchange, out of about 14,000 who applied for one.
The feds aren’t saying how many of the 27,000 people nationwide who got new health plans through healthcare.gov are paying for them yet. Missourians use that site to shop for Obamacare plans. It has been plagued by problems from day one.
A little more than 100,000 people overall have signed up for Obamacare plans, once you factor in the states running their own exchanges. Still, that’s way below what the administration expected.
