Still no cause for JCMO school illnesses
The kids are all okay but it’s still a mystery to what made students sick and forced an evacuation at Jefferson City’s St. Joseph Cathedral School recently.
About a dozen students became sick at the school and several were seen at the hospital or by family doctors.
DNR and Cole County Haz-Mat teams checked the school but didn’t turn up a cause, even after rigorous air and water testing. Investigators now speculate that the sickness may been caused by a virus or even the flu.
