The Miller County sheriff’s department found itself chasing one of its own cars Thursday afternoon. The sheriff’s department reports a woman placed in the back seat of a county deputy’s car with her hands cuffed behind her back somehow got into the driver’s seat and began to drive away. Police were able to get the car stopped. The woman ran into some woods before being recaptured. Deputies report finding narcotics in the woman’s car. She is also wanted on several felony warrants.
