Alleged Cheating on State Test at Area School

Posted by Warren Krech on June 19, 2013

State education officials are investigating allegations of cheating on annual state testing given to students at Camdenton Middle School.

The AP reports Superintendent Tim Hadfield says the allegations include that a teacher signaled students about wrong answers and untrained administrators oversaw the MAP tests.

A teacher and administrator at the school have been placed on leave. The state could sanction the district if the allegations are proven, which might affect the middle school’s accreditation.
