Another Arrested for New Year’s Shooting

The man wanted in connection with a New Year’s Day shooting in Jefferson City turns himself in Friday.

Daleron Monroe was wanted after a fight at Club Motivation led to one man being shot at the Phillips 66 on Stadium. Brandon Betts was shot in the face, and was arrested for drug possession. His brother, Byron Betts, was initially arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Brandon Betts’ injuries weren’t life threatening.
