There was an unwelcome surprise for a Boone County congregation Wednesday morning.
Boone County Sheriff’s Detective Tom O’Sullivan says burglars struck the Living Faith Church on Route Y east of Ashland some time after 8:00 Tuesday night. Deputies think something scared off the crooks, because they left stacks of items outside. They still got away with a safe, keyboard and other musical items.
Anyone who might have seen the overnight burglary is urged to call the Boone County Sheriff’s Department or CrimeStoppers.
