JCMO Man accused of raping teen now charged

The Jefferson City man accused of raping his girlfriend’s daughter was indicted by the Cole County grand jury Wednesday. 40-year-old Shawndell Miller faces a long list of charges including rape, kidnapping and assault. Miller allegedly attacked the 17-year-old at the home he shared with the teenager and her mother.

Who turned out the lights?

The lights are back on in southern Callaway County. A blown fuse at Central Electric in Jefferson City turned out the lights for about 15- hundred customers of Callaway Electric Cooperative…mostly in the Holts Summit area and south. Most customers had their power restored by 10 last night.
