Autopsy Results Reveal Mizzou Student Was Murdered

Authorities are investigating the death of a Mizzou student in the Saint Louis area as a homicide.

Autopsy results reveal 21-year-old Jarrett Mosby was murdered. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the lungs. Mosby’s body was found in a car outside a home in Madison, Illinois on Monday.

Lieutenant Matt Eiskant with the Major Case Squad of Greater Saint Louis says the hunt for the person or people behind Mosby’s death continues.

“We’re investigating numerous leads at this time,” Eiskant says. “At this point we have not made an arrest, however we do have investigators on the streets as we speak investigating numerous leads.”

Lieutenant Eiskant says to call CrimeStoppers if you have any info related to the murder. Mosby was found Monday in the driver’s seat of the car, shot several times in the chest.
