Bill Aims to Keep Lake Beaches Open

A Lake-area representative has his first bill in mind. Rocky Miller’s proposal is meant to end the frequent closure of the Lake of the Ozarks state park beaches due to elevated levels of E.coli bacteria. Miller says the proposed legislation addresses what he calls excessively stringent regulations. He says Missouri has the strictest testing and beach closure laws in the nation.
