First it was a Vietnam–era grenade reeled in by a fisherman near Springfield. Now it’s a homemade bomb in Sedalia.
Pettis County deputies called in the Highway Patrol Bomb Squad after spotting the bomb in a car at a trailer park as they served arrest warrants on Wednesday. The bomb was found after a deputy saw a gun in a car and searched it. The suspect was arrested for weapons charges. The Highway Bomb Squad used a robot to grab the bomb and then blew it up.
