The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the man who robbed Bank Star One in New Bloomfield at about 9:15 Saturday morning. The sheriff’s department says the man did not display a weapon and told the teller to put the money in a plastic bag.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, running across Highway 54 and heading north on old 54. The suspect is described as a black man, in his late 30’s to early 40’s, with close-cropped hair. He was wearing tennis shoes, jogging pants with a white stripe down the side, a light colored t-shirt under a black jacket and sunglasses. The sheriff’s department is offering a reward if you have more information.
