Callaway County Drug Trafficker Pleads Guilty

Posted by Warren Krech on June 11, 2013

A Callaway County man admits to being a Mid-Missouri drug trafficker.

Jason Holloway, 33, pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to several counts of drug possession and distribution. Prosecutors say Holloway admitted to buying about 50 pounds of pot and a kilo of cocaine every month for two years, until his arrest in September of 2010. Holloway would travel to Kansas City to buy the drugs, then distribute them in Boone, Callaway and Cooper Counties. Prosecutors say they seized 117 pounds of marijuana Holloway had stored at a Columbia house when they raided it in 2010.

Holloway faces a minimum of 10 years in federal prison without parole, and could get up to a life sentence.
