DWI Checkpoint Nabs Seven

Cole County deputies made seven arrests for Driving While Intoxicated Friday night during a roadblock on Highway 179. Deputies stopped a motorcyclist who then took off. He was caught when he crashed south of the city near Cassidy Road. Deputies and troopers stopped nearly 800 vehicles Friday.
