The big decision could come Monday night, as Jefferson City councilmen may choose the developer that will get to build a conference center.
The Farmer Holding Company wants to build a hotel and conference center at its Capital Mall. The Hannibal–based Erhardt Group wants to go in on property across from the Truman State Office building downtown.
The council is split over the two plans. The other options are deciding against both proposals and re-opening the bidding process, or advancing both plans.
