Local people with developmental disabilities may be in for more bad news this year. Jim Casey, Director of Cole County Residential Services says he may have to take more financial hits due to state budget shortfalls. On KWOS OPEN AIR, Casey says programs like respite care and recreation help keep his clients out of expensive long term care. He says his agency could have to cut back from 8 to 25 percent in the coming year if Missouri’s economy doesn’t turn around. Here’s more of our conversation with Jim Casey on KWOS OPEN AIR:
