It appears a heart attack is behind a fatal crash in Lake Ozark.
Autopsy results show 75-year old Charles West of Lebanon apparently had a heart attack Wednesday, while driving along Highway 54 at the Osage River Bridge. His car hit both sides of the bridge, then a guard rail before crossing the highway and going down a steep embankment. The vehicle landed in a creek next to Riverview RV Campground. West was pronounced dead at the scene.
