Guilty Verdict for Chase in Jefferson City Murder

Posted by Warren Krech on June 21, 2013

There was no hung jury this time… it’s a guilty verdict for a Jefferson City man accused of murder.

Online records say the Cole County jury convicted Brandon Chase on counts of second-degree murder, robbery, and armed criminal action. Chase is accused having a hand in the shooting death of Keith Mosley during a drug deal last spring in the capitol city.

This was the second trial for chase, after a jury couldn’t come to a consensus the first time around. Two others are charged in the killing. Tracy Session is already in prison. Khiry Summers is set to go to trial next month.

Chase was taken to jail after the trial and given a $250,ooo bond until his sentencing  is held. That is scheduled for July 24th.
