High School Burglars Sought in Jefferson City

Jefferson City Police want your help to identify the suspects in a high school heist.

They say two men went into the locker rooms at Weber Field House on the JC High campus between 4:00 and 4:30 Monday afternoon. While the freshman football team was playing a game and the cross country team was practicing, the men allegedly used bolt cutters to remove locks from several lockers.

Investigators say the two young men got away with about $3,000 worth of cell phones and cash. They may have gotten away in a later-model, dark grey Chevy Impala four-door without a front license plate.

Police describe one suspect as a black male in his late teens through mid-20′s, between 6’0″ and 6’4″, weighing 220 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a yellow symbol and writing on the back, and white athletic shorts.

The second suspect is a black male in his  late teens through mid-20′s, between 5’10″ and- 6’1″, weighing about 165 lbs. He was wearing a green and black NBA Grizzlies ball cap, grey sweatshirt, black sweatpants with a red stripe down each side and tan shoes.

Jefferson City Police want anyone with information on the burglary to call them or CrimeStoppers. We have pictures of the suspects posted below.
