Highway Patrol Advice on Storm

Stay off the roads Thursday. That’s the advice from the Highway Patrol. Captain Tim Hull says with snow, sleet and ice in the forecast, there’s no reason to be out on the roads.

Hull also tells drivers who absolutely think they need to be out to slow down and increase your following distance. You should also watch out for snowplows and make sure to yield to other cars that might not be able to stop at a slick intersection.
