The Capital City has three prospective conference center developers… but that’s all they’re saying. Thursday was the deadline for developers to turn in their proposals.
City councilmen should take up the plans at the February 4th council meeting. $9 million in lodging tax dollars are pledged by the city for the project. The conference center has to included an attached hotel as part of the deal.
