THE LATEST:  “Can” You Help?

JCTV Funding Down to the Wire

You might not be able to dial up Jefferson City’s public access TV channel much longer. Last year, the Jefferson City Council pulled the plug on one–third of JCTV’s $150,000 budget.

Station manager Gloria Enloe is worried the rest may be on the line, even with help from Lincoln University.

“The university has said that they’re dedicated to JCTV and they don’t intend to let those doors close,” says Enloe, “but the pressure’s on.”

While JCTV has historically broadcast Jefferson City Council meetings live, those meetings are now offered as a stream on the city website.
