Jeff City Child Hit by Truck

A Jefferson City child is hospitalized after being hit by a truck. The 8-year-old was run over in the 900 block of West McCarty Street Monday night. The driver told police the child ran in front of the truck. The child was taken to Capital Region with moderate injuries.
