Jefferson City Council Seat Decided

Posted by Warren Krech on March 6, 2013

A Jefferson City primary election decides a City Council race.

James Branch earned 194  votes to win the 1st Ward Council seat over his two primary opponents. Since Branch received over 50% of the votes cast, there won’t be a general election for the seat in April.

Kolbi Ward and Chris Holsman also ran for the seat of Bob Weber, who is leaving the Council due to term limits.
