Jefferson City Motel Fire

Firefighters think careless smoking may have started a fire in a Jefferson City motel Saturday night. Crews evacuated the Holiday Inn Express after a fire in a stairwell. The motel had smoke damage but is reopening Monday. No one was hurt.
