Jefferson City Shooting Injures One

Jefferson City Police are dealing with their second shooting incident of the past week.

The latest one happened early Tuesday morning. Officers at the state capital responded to several shots fired outside a Phillips 66 station on Stadium Boulevard at about 5:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day. They later learned someone was in the hospital with gunshots wounds related to the call. That victim is in stable condition.

One man was killed on December 27th in an attempted robbery that turned deadly on Schroeder Way.
