Missouri Might Drop The GED

The GED may become a test of the past in several dozen states, including Missouri.

That’s because the new GED that debuts in January is double the cost of the current test and will no longer be offered in a pencil and paper format.

Forty states have participated in a group that’s considering an alternative to the GED for earning a high school equivalency. Three states have already announced that they are switching test providers who offer a cheaper alternative… and Missouri has requested bids for consideration.
