The head of MoDOT says he’s resigning for medical reasons.
Director Kevin Keith is taking a medical leave of absence immediately, and plans to formally retire on July 1st. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has accepted Keith’s resignation, and named MoDOT’s Chief Engineer the interim director for at least a year.
Dave Nichols has spent 29 years working for MoDOT serving in various leadership roles.
