MSP Cleanup Deal Announced

If you like tours of the old MSP prison site in Jefferson City, you should be able to take them next spring.

Governor Nixon and State Senator Mike Kehoe joined city leaders to announce a cleanup and renovation deal for the historic site, which closed due to mold concerns earlier this year.

The state and city will each pay half of the cost of cleanup and renovations in four locations used for tours. Nearly 20,000 people toured the site last year, bringing in almost $300,000.
