New Approach for Future JC Budgets?

Plan for the worst, and hope for the best.  As Jefferson City leaders scramble to make up a budget shortage this year, Mayor Eric Struemph is looking ahead. He says it’s likely the city will budget for no growth in 2014, due to the state of the economy.

Struemph also says he wants more input from business people before making revenue predictions.  City leaders may be taking a cue from the county, which normally plans for zero revenue growth.
