If a new assault rifle ban happens, don’t expect Osage County deputies to show up at your door. Newly elected sheriff Michael Dixon says his department will not enforce any new gun control measures that come down from Washington. Dixon says he also supports a recently introduced bill in the Missouri House that would make it illegal to put new federal restrictions on gun owners and manufacturers.
