An Eldon animal shelter that was investigated for alleged abuse is cleared of wrongdoing.
A Missouri Department of Agriculture investigation found no evidence to support allegations that two dogs were abused during an incident in January. But the findings do show some contradictions and inconsistencies in testimony.
The Ag Department says it will re-inspect the Miller County shelter before reinstating its license for this year. The department will also forward the investigation’s report to the Missouri Attorney General’s office for further review.

Police often link “inconsistencies” with people that are LIEING. Why aren’t the police being held to AT LEAST as high of a standard as its common citizens?
To the citizens of Eldon – you should be ashamed of the police officers and you should demand better. You deserve it!
