A Jefferson City man is headed to prison for the next ten years for his part in a 2012 murder.

Justin Beasley, 21, was charged after the death of 41–year-old Andre Hudson of Holts Summit. Beasley was the driver of a car that Hudson was found dead in following a botched drug deal. Beasley had run from officers when he was stopped after the shooting.

Another defendant, 36–year-old Calvin Hutson, is also charged in the killing. Investigators said he exchanged shots with the victim during the robbery. He goes on trial in November.

The final man convicted of a drug deal-turned-murder in Jefferson City also learns his fate.

Khiry Summers will spend 20 years in prison for his role in the 2012 killing of Keith Mosley at a Jefferson City public housing apartment. Co-defendants Tracy Session and Brandon Chase are already in prison for their roles in the murder.

Prosecutors say the men told Mosley they’d do a drug deal, but really planned to rob him all along.
