Sewer Upgrade in Jefferson City

It might be not talk for the dinner hour, but your ancestors used the very same sewer system you’re using now… and sections of it date back to the 1800’s.

On KWOS “Open Air”, Jefferson City Public Works director Roger Schwartze says sections of those clay pipes that are over 100 years old are being redone using high–tech plastic liners. He says the improved system should also be better-equipped to handle floodwaters.
