Three Charged in Connection With Shooting
Three men – including the victim – are now charged after a Jefferson City shooting. Brandon Betts was hit in the face and faces charges of drug possession. His brother Byron Betts is charged with firearms possession. The shooter, Daleron Monroe, is charged with assault.
A troubled Jefferson City after–hours club may have played into the shooting of Brandon Betts at a gas station New Year’s morning.
He was shot in the face around 5:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Phillips 66 on Stadium. Investigators now think the incident progressed after a confrontation at Club Motivation on Industrial Drive and led to the shooting. The club has been the scene of previous assaults and other incidents.
