Two men are charged with murder for the shooting death of a Holts Summit man Thursday night.

Jefferson City police have 35-year-old Calvin Hutson and 20-year-old Justin Bradley in custody. Both face murder, armed robbery and other charges after allegedly shooting 41-year-old Andre Hudson to death inside a car on Schroeder Way.

Captain Bob Cynova says Hutson and Bradley set the victim up for a robbery from the start, but something went wrong during their deal with Hudson.

Police found Hutson with gunshot wounds about a block away from the scene after following a blood trail he left behind. A probable cause statement says police found a gun and suspected drugs along the path Hutson traveled. Bradley was the driver of the car got away after a traffic stop Thursday night, but Cynova says he later turned himself in.
