A Jefferson City funeral home that’s already paid back nearly $300,000 to customers will now not be able to sell pre-need contracts. The attorney general sued Buescher Funeral Home in 2009, claiming owner Barbara Buescher didn’t put pre-need funds in bank accounts. On Monday, Attorney General Chris Koster ruled that the funeral home pay $29,500 in fines. Once the fees are paid, the charges will be dropped.
