Area Man Learns Sentence for Baby’s Death

**UPDATE 12:30 PM**

A Callaway County judge put Bryan Sartor on five years’ probation Monday, after he pleaded guilty in February to endangering the welfare of a child and drug possession. If he violates his probation, Sartor will be going to prison for seven years.

We should learn Monday how much time Bryan Sartor will spend in prison.

He’s the man who pleaded guilty earlier this year to the June 2012 death of a nine-month-old Holts Summit boy. The baby was found dead inside a playpen. Sartor and the mother of the child, Megan Ayers, admitted they were doing meth when the boy died. Ayers was sentenced to five years behind bars in January, but could get out on probation soon, at the end of a 120-day “shock sentence.”
