JC Business Concerned with Flood Effects

A Jefferson City businessman is concerned floodwaters are going to gobble up his business, and he blames the city for it.

Danny Baumgartner, owner of Turkey Creek Golf Center, says he thinks when city crews dammed up rising floodwaters at Highway 63, the excess waters flooded his golf course and cut off access. He says the waters caused damage to the center.

The flooding comes at Turkey Creek’s busiest time of the year. Officials say they had to stop the rising floodwater.
