A pro – schools measure passes in Fulton


Jefferson City’s schools saw a bond issue to build a second high school approved last year. This week, Fulton voters passed a levy issue, which means more money for the district. Salaries are going Superintendent Jacque Cowherd says a big thing will be funding mental health services that the district may have lost.

Property taxes are going up right away in the Fulton school district, about 57 cents per hundred dollars of assessed value.
