Former fed courthouse worker faces additional gun charges

A former supervisor of custodians at the Christopher S. Bond Courthouse in Jefferson City has picked up another federal charge.

Victor Vargas, 40, has been in custody since May. He allegedly bought ten guns and sold them to a convicted felon for about $8,000 in April.

The new indictment says Vargas also made a false written statement claiming he was buying the guns for himself.
