Adrian’s Island bridge may just happen

The plan to link the State Capitol to the Jefferson City riverfront is moving ahead. Private funding will help pay for an 800 – foot bridge from the Capitol to Adrian’s Island in Jefferson City. The area will become the city’s newest park. The biggest challenge will be building the bridge up and over the railroad tracks between the Capitol and the river.
